What a great show Weds night. The guys actually took off their on-air personas and revealed a lot about how they are off mike. Bravo to the caller who posed the question "Are you guys friends off the air?" Bravo to the screeners for letting it through and of course bravo to Adam for his candid response. Hope Susan didn't get too upset!

I agree. That was such an honest response by Adam...and they all are. Of course he exaggerates, that's part of his comedy...talking about that sociopath Pan-Pan in his home trying to sell him knives. Still, Adam was pretty critical of Susan, and Drew even said that she doesn't like it when Adam criticizes her on-air. But Adam had his complaint about the sharing of the cell phone #, and he let rip.

I was most surprised by what Adam said (referring to Susan) about how if animals escape from the zoo, you don't blame the animals, you build a bigger fence. He said that Susan is just "the way she is," just as animals are the way they are, and said Drew have more capability of "lateral movement" than Susan. "I give you more credit for change than her."

It was interesting to hear Drew compare himself to his wife, and say how they both have a hard time setting boundaries.

All in all, a great show, as you point out. Sometimes it doesn't take inspirational callers (and there was no surplus of those last night. Just probing, honest conversation.

Good times :)

The show would not be on the air if it depended on inspirational callers. When is this going to be available for listening (downloading)? I only caught the part when Adam was talking about Susan.

I enjoyed the part when I asked them about signing "Love and Death." :-)

Good call on "Love and Death"...very funny movie. From the early Woody Allen period I also like "What's Up Tiger Lilly" and "Take the Money and Run." All brilliantly funny.
