Monday, October 6, 2003 at 7:27 PM O.K., how would you feel if the only area "radio station" played the intro to Loveline, only to break away when Adam starts talking to play 2 hours of rap "music" ? ok, now you all know what im going thru... (puts sniper rifle down slowly) This has been happening atleast twice a week for the past 4 months. Ive called the station manager countless times to complain, only to be told everything is fine. Well, short of killing every living thing at the station, and sowing the earth with salt so nothing will ever grow there again.... wait, where was I ? oh yeah.... to the point. I need a reliable radio station in the Madison, Wisconsin area, or A nice internet site that plays loveline... I know there are a few, but i cant seem to find one that has consistant streaming ability, or plays LoveLine well.... So if anyone that sat thru this rant has a station for me, i would be very happy, and avoid possible jail time for murder...although, i dont think a court in the land would convict me considering... Thanks,

Monday, October 6, 2003 at 8:40 PM While i do thank you (jay9898) for the hard work you put into your reply, i have no idea what any of that is... i can hardly use a computer... and yes, i know we have some great FTP sites, i visit them almost every night, but there are alot of incomplete shows, and some are very poor quality. I know that cant be helped in most cases, so i would like to continue recording my own, off the radio if possible. As posted earlier, i have a nice collection of edited tapes, close to 1000 shows from the past few years. This was off of WMAD, before they went out of business. Anyway, thank you both for the reply, but what im really looking for is a nice radio station in the Wisconsin area that plays LoveLine well.... anyone else in this state listen to loveline ? —illyB |

Monday, October 6, 2003 at 8:43 PM What kind of sniper rifle do you use, illyB? I prefer a Winchester Classic Custom Sharpshooter in .308 As an option, I'd go with the Parker-Hale M-85, also in .308 Some people will swear by the larger calibers, but when you want dead on accuracy through a program director's office window, nothing delivers like a 7.62MM NATO round. For an eerie message, you can use a flat file and scribe "Loveline" into the bullet.

Also the ftp site is great since the show comes on late and I usually get the first 30 minutes live on our local affiliate and then go to bed. everymorning I d/l and listen to Loveline while working at my desk. I can stop it and it makes the day go by fast.
