Sunday, October 5, 2003 at 6:34 PM Hi. I have been listening for about 2 years. Recently i have needed to get through with a problem. It is a very serious problem. I start trying to call 1 hour or so before the show starts... I cant even get through to a damn call screener. I need to know how you guys get through so easy.... Thanks ~Ktulu~ —Ktulu |

Sunday, October 5, 2003 at 9:38 PM the two times i have gotten through, I just start trying to call at 9:30. if you call any time before that, you will just get busy signals, and if it does ring, it will ring 20 times then disconnect, since no one is picking up the phone then. around 9:40 or 9:45 they start picking up calls i believe. I was picked up around 9:40 both times. A good technique is just to dial the number, if it is busy, hang up, immediately pick back up and redial. repeat. after about 10-15 times you will eventually get the normal 'rinign' tone. Don't hang up, hopefully they will grab your call before your ringing times out from the phone provider. From what i hear, each screener (Brian and Teara) each have 6 lines, so for a nation of people trying to call at the same time, that doesn't leave a lot of open lines. Just keep trying, and Tara is really nice, Brian is kinda a dick. Hope you get on! Tyler —Tyler |

Brian is much stricter than Tara, but if you present yourself nicely and you've got a legit problem, he'll probably let you through. As for getting through, start calling 20-25 minutes before the show starts, and make damn good use of that redial. When I've wanted to get through, I've never failed. —Thomas/Frope |

Monday, October 6, 2003 at 8:48 PM Brian is NOT a dick. I got through a couple weeks ago with absolutely no problem aside from busy signals. I asked my question, was very intelligent and dignified about it, and Brian asked me if I was having this problem...I said no, because I wasn't, and that I just thought it'd be good conversation.
