Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 8:59 PM Hey, you know how they have soundboards on the internet? Like the Schwarzennager one, and a bunch based off of movies/cartoons? If you don't, they're basically flash documents put up on a web page, with a few dozen buttons that play small sound files when you press them. Used often for prank calls. I think someone actually called in to Loveline using the Arnold one but Adam already knew about it. Has anyone thought about making a Carolla sound board? I think I could make one, but finding and then downloading all the mp3 shows just to cut out 10 seconds would be pretty difficult. Especially since I dont know the dates of most of my favorite rants. But still, is this a good idea? —Jake |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 9:36 PM I actually made a really lame one as a Java applet. It had six phrases: 2 questions, 2 exclamations, and 2 statements and it would show the corresponding phrase in text form. Doing it in Flash is probably the easiest way. If it's good enough, every morning radio zoo will be using it. I swear if I hear another Arnold call with some jack-off DJ thinking he's comedy gold... —Mahalo |
