Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 12:57 AM He was just making a flop of an attempt at being funny. He mouthed the words as though it was all for a laugh that never came. One of the only really funny things he said was the bit about tossing the rat into the neighbor's yard. The bantering between Cheech Marin and Adam was awkward. Standing up to whisper in Jimmy's ear did not work either. It was borderline classic (though unintended no doubt) upstaging stepping in front of the guest's spotlight like that. —Mike (not-the-first) |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 1:08 AM I agree that whole thing was wrong and Adam was being an ASSHOLE. The thing I thought was funny was when he found out they only paid 20 bucks for his suit. —DALAMAR23666 |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 4:49 AM Adam made Kathy Griffin desirable. Albeit irritating, she knows how to play the role. There was a little bit of "amature" spoken with Cheech Marin's facial expression as he put up with Adam's antics. Adam wasn't getting very many laughs Wednesday night. —Art |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 7:12 AM I've caught the last 2 night shows and I don'tthink Adam is at the top of his game either. He's a bit off. I remember seeing him when the show started and he was hilarious, he seems too buttoned down or shticky the last few days. Maybe the censors riding his ass too much? And he kept doing way too many call backs to things like Cheech's pants and Dueces Wild that stopped being funny after two times. —Logo Lou |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 3:39 PM Yeah, this is what I didn't say very well in the other thread. He was just plain annoying during the interview with Seth Green. I'm thinking maybe he's too used to his domineering presence on the radio and doesn't remember to tone it down for Jimmy's show. In any event, when Drew makes his appearance tonight Adam's behavior will probably seem normal again. —Mahalo |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 5:22 PM I think when Adam is Jimmy's co-host, Adam feels like he's got a bit more liberty than other co-hosts, as Adam and Jimmy used to host "The Man Show". And speaking of "The Man Show", I think Adam's got some negative feelings there, and maybe he's still working through it. He talked on a recent show about a magazine article that said something like "and they finally got rid of the old hosts". Adam went on a rant about how he decided to no longer do the show, and not that he was let go from the show. And speaking of "The Man Show" - I finally saw an episode of the new season. It totally sucks... —Ace Rockola |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 8:41 PM Isn't it great that everyone (or at least so many of you) can agree that Adam did not do very well yet no one feels compelled to jump in to blindly defend him regardless of his alledged poor performance? We all love Adam and know what he is capable of. Although this week has not (yet) proven to be Adam's finest we all are certain he can stand the reality check and will rise once again to entertain the masses! —God |

Friday, September 12, 2003 at 12:21 AM Actually After watching the sorry performance on the JK show I downloaded some great old loveline episodes from earlier this year and was listening to them and the one I heard was where he was in Vegas and had a bad south west flight with no peanuts and man he was true to form asshole. I also listened to most of tonights show and for some reason I just can't get the Whiney Baby attitude out of my head and I see it more and more as I listen to the episodes and makes me wonder what I ever thought was funny about him. He needs to leave loveline and go back to being the moronic sidekick he was back before he was on loveline. I hope they read the forums cause Adam you ARE the spoilt little brat that you accused the kids of being. You have hit fame and you are a wannabe millionaire who true to the people that have reached fame have forgotten your roots and all the fame has gone to your head and you are now the most pathetic excuse for humor I have ever seen. Adam is starting to remind me of Rodney Dangerfield. —DALAMAR23666 |

Friday, September 12, 2003 at 6:13 AM Hi everyone! I have a question..because I can't wait until Sunday. Did Dr. Drew make it to the Loveline (KROQ) studios on time? I was kind of surprised they didn't take him as the first guest for Jimmy Kimmel Live. I did enjoy the Jimmy Kimmel Live show last night and..I have really liked seeing Adam as Jimmy's co-host. I am going to express my opinion on another thread. But, I just wanted to say that for now. Take care everyone
