I haven't heard Tuesdays show yet. He was only 20 minutes late to Mondays Loveline show. He is doing great as Jimmy's co-host. Adam and Dr. Drew really have a wonderful chemestry together. I've always known that.

Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at 5:25 PM I saw Tuesday's JKL and Adam was kind of irritating. I know he likes to be camp when speaking of acting but he was really stretching it with the "Deuces Wild" duel role thing. That's why he makes the big bucks I guess. —Mahalo |

Thursday, September 11, 2003 at 12:49 AM Monday- he and Jimmy briefly swapped guest for host rolls then as Adam was interviewing Jimmy the roof came down on Adam's head. For the rest of the show Adam wore a neck brace and stared up at the sealing. I thought this was pretty lame. After the show when Adam arrived to do Loveline he seemed very pleased and riding on a high. He called from his cell phone as he drove to the station and was in top form for Loveline. Tuesday- a pre-filmed bit called Deuces Wild: Adam played two rolls; a military special forces soldier, then he played his own nemesis/darksided enemy. Drew has been able to take more calls in the time before Adam arrives late than they usually take during three complete shows with Adam in the studio. Adam immediately got on Drew's case for Drew's disgust with a male caller who seemed more obsessed with his own feelings for his girlfriend's abortion than concerned for hers -a call Drew had taken as Adam was driving from JKL to Loveline's studio. Adam was better in Wednesday's filmed bit Gang Tackle than any he has done to date -or at least the bit itself was funny. If you need a summary, it was a round-robin format talk show with a bunch of guys and Adam as moderator. He posed a topic then as one guy started to voice his point of view everyone started screaming and cursing their disagreement. They were clearly using profanity but you could only read their lips as it was a bunch of inaudible shouting. It ended as one guy hit the guy with his folding chair. On Loveline Drew and Adam relished questioning Dr. Alter, a cosmetic and urinary doctor who performs sex change, breast and penis augmentation and the like. —Art |
