Monday, September 8, 2003 at 10:05 PM I haven't got Drew's book (I'll probably pick up the paperback) but I noticed the cover says "with Todd Gold." Is he a co-author? editor? I have another book that says "with Todd Gold" and that is "Pryor Convictions" an autobiography by Richard Pryor. It doesn't give much more information on him in that book either. I assume maybe he helps sort out the stories and make them a continuous narrative? Has Drew ever mentioned anything? —Logo Lou |

Monday, September 8, 2003 at 11:00 PM At the end of the book Drew thanks Todd Gold for providing a "story arch", I have no idea what that is, but I am making an educated guess that Todd helps non-writers construct a book in a way that is still readable and entertaining to the reader... so he probably had input on how to order stories et cetera. On a separate note, who else thought Cracked was too quick of a read? I read it in a matter of 7 hours, from the time I recieved it to when I went to sleep that night... Not to say that it wasn't a great book, but it was short. Anyone who considers themself a hardcore loveline fan MUST read the book, it shows so much more of Drew that we don't get on the show like we do with Adam, as Drew doesn't constantly rant about his personal life. If you don't have the cash, I checked with my local library and they have 2 copies of it already, but I'm not sure if it will be the same story all around the country (I doubt it). —Kevin U. |

Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at 4:40 PM Cracked is a wonderful book. I encourage everyone who listens to Loveline to read it. The book is reasonably priced. I am glad I have the hard cover copy. —Angel |
