Friday, August 8, 2003 at 11:56 AM It's true that while Adam may have upped his "number" by making some dough, he's still grounded enough to realize that a incompatible hottie is still incompatible. For all his talk, he still has some insecurities, and from what I've gathered of his wife, she seems to accept him for the most part, for who he is and not what he represents or provides. Friday, August 8, 2003 at 2:49 PM You have to remember Adam is 39 years old. He's not going to marry a 20 year old. I think his wife is attractive, she looked good when she appeared on a couple of the Man Show's in the first season. She seems to be his type, that was the comparison when he was on Jimmy Kimmel and compared her to Adrienne Barbeau. He has said he likes brunettes, long hair, big chest, no ass. She seems to fit the bill. He got ripped off? I don't think anyone forced him! He once referred to her as "golden". He seems to be very much in love. —db |

We can gather some odds and ends from his various rants and analogies but has he ever talked seriously about this? It is easier to understand Drew's marriage. It makes sense. Adam is more of a contadiction because he expresses every emotion that passes through his system. Considering his background, he probably values being loved more than surface beauty. —Art |

Friday, August 8, 2003 at 5:56 PM If you met a guy on the street who constantly had a rant about everything he would have to be kind and likable at heart or you would avoid him like a plague. Adam has to have a quiet and lovable flip side. That would be the side that those closest to him would enjoy (his wife). It bleeds through or we would think of him more like Don Rickles. Rickles' public face is obnoxious and it wasn't until he and his friends had to campaign describing his true nature that the public saw he was actually a gentle sort of guy. With Adam, it is easy to see him being compassionate in the midst of his contrary behavior. Regarding his "number" never mind that he's literally a millionaire; he's the world's funniest man. He charms the pants off every female guest on the show.
