Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at 11:43 AM Does anyone happen to have a fairly large upstream that they could use to host a server?
I only have 256k up and between my mail servers, live audio streams, and the Loveline shows, things have slowed to a crawl. The worst offenders are SPAM MAIL and the Loveline downloads.
I still want to record them, and I still want to make them available. I may have to limit the archive server to just 1 login. If anyone has lots of upstream bandwidth, please E-Mail Me. We'll find a way to transfer everything and that way I think it will lighten up the load on mine, Trig's and Kevin's servers. I would love to put something at a colocation service, but unfortunately I'm not making any money off of this to pay for it. Right now it's just for fun. I've also been running winmx on and off. I'm only sharing loveline files and please if anyone downloads more than a few things, please share them. Also, if anyone knows of any good deals on colo services in New England--Let me know! —NJC |
