Monday, August 4, 2003 at 2:04 AM I understand what you are describing and I feel the relationship with them myself. But we have not interacted with them, we have only listened to them. It would be a very different experience meeting up with them at Home Depot if we had actually hung out with them for six years. We do not have a mutual relationship because Drew and Adam do not know anything about us. We like them but we do not have an experience of them accepting and enjoying us. These are the feelings that hook people into sending money to TV evangelists. People get emotionally attached to the people on the radio or TV. Anyway this may seem like a big DUH but I think it is interesting to realize the difference between what we feel and the reality of the circumstances. —Art |
