Drew's Book

I'm curious who among us is planning on reading Drew's book... I am pretty sure I will get around to it, the topic sounds pretty interesting and hopefully Drew wrote it to be at least less-than-bland. He definately has made the point that it took a lot of hard work and dedication, so it should be good. If we are lucky we can look forward to Drew guesting on Kimmel again to plug the book...

I will read it. Think about this, Dr. Drew has been doing the radio show for close to 20 years if I am not mistaken. People see that he is interesting or they would not listen to him. If he is excited about this book it must be worth reading. I'd like to see him on Charley Rose where he has a chance to elaborate. The Kimmel show can be funny but he is notorious for adhering to a prescripted agenda of cross conversations and gags with everyone but the guest in front of him.

I'll be a cheap bastard and get it from the library (the place with books). While I'm there, I'm gonna get some CDs (vinyl record replacement), keep them a while, then store them on my dash in the hot sun, just so I can save a couple bucks and be an even cheaper bastard.

My small tribute to the father Carolla

This is Drew's first book I assume, right? Not counting the Loveline book he did with Adam?

About a week before I was in studio, I called up and asked him about his book. He said its comin out Aug. 21, and its all about his experiences workin with damaged ppl or whatever -- from what I understand, its gonna be like, a collection of stories. Listen tonight (the 15th) and I'm gonna call in and get some more info about it. Go here for a picture of me with Adam and Drew

I've decided not to really disclose how I got into the studio, for their convenience. I figure if I said how I did it, everyone else would do it, and it might well be disastrous for Ann. And yea CJS, who woulda thought small-town Louisiana chicks could look that good? :P
