Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 6:33 AM Kevin and Trig, How do I start my own ftp server? I have alot of nirvana video files I want to put on my site, but I have no webspace. Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 9:55 AM Find your self an FTP server. I recomend the War FTP Daemon 1.7 beta, found on download.com
Once you have your ftp server running, access it by going to ftp://[yourip]/ (where [yourip] is your IP address) or register a domain and create an A record that points to your ip, so people can access your ftp server by going to ftp://yourdomain.com/ —Matt |
