Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 6:05 PM I like Joe Rogan, but I have only seen the another guy do stand up once or twice. I would hope Joe comes back to Loveline but I don't know if that will happen. Of course, in the long run Adam could probably care less if the the new hosts do great or fail miserably, so I wouldn't be surprised if they are on Loveline. (Anyone remember the AWFUL Man Show rip off The "X" Show? UGH.) I have to say bringing in new hosts is a good idea from the producers standpoint. As long as there are Juggies, you know a certain level of ratings are to be had, for good or ill. —Logo Lou |

Friday, July 11, 2003 at 11:47 AM I personally took tony's advice and emailed CC to complain about the new hosts! and I would ecourage everyone to do the same! Sure, maybe it WAS Jimmy and Adam's decision to quit the show, but CC shouldn't continue with the show!! It's gonna suck now!!! Out of tribute to Adam and Jimmy the show should be retired... and I hope the new hosts fail miserably!!! Peace... —the_hockeyman |

Friday, July 11, 2003 at 7:40 PM CC not continuing a successful show would be stupid on their part. At least they have to see what the general public says. If people don't like it, they won't watch it, and advertisers won't spend the bucks. I'm sure they've had focus groups involved with the idea of continuing, and you know they're running the new show/format/hosts past some as well. Besides, it was Jimmy/Daniel/Adam's decision to allow CC the right to manage the show as they see fit in return for more complete creative control. Nah, I ain't defending the new show or its hosts. I really don't see them being accepted, but maybe that's just from this group? Generally, we are pretty biased. Who knows, maybe America will be fine with new hosts as long as there are broads jumping on trampolines. Now that I put it that way, it doesn't sound _so_ bad afterall ...
