Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 8:21 AM ace was HI-larious. his message to the kids was spectacular, especially with the bandages wrapped around both hands. the kimmel/carolla chemistry was so on...great line about freddie mercury's hairstylist and grabbing ace's ears. adam's parking enforcement sketch was cool too, but when did they film it?

Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 2:05 PM I like it when pieces of the puzzle come together. Adam was talking about Jimmy smoking some ribs the other night, and through Jimmy's show Monday night we learn it was for Cousin Sal's birthday party. Apparently that's when Adam was enjoying a bit of weed, too. It's like overhearing phone conversations and piecing together what the hell is going on. Makes me feel nice and stalker-ish. —Carew |

Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 3:45 PM I agree with the puzzle pieces coming together. It was like when Dr. Drew was a guest and all the little in-jokes took up the whole interview. The Man Show also had examples of stuff that originated on Loveline like Adam's rant about the deodorant commericals that sound like "he plays hard, he loves hard, he WORKS hard" which they made into a sketch a year or so later. It makes listening to Loveline and paying attention to the jokes rewarding. "PEPS" also had the "when you act like this, I don't even KNOW YOU, man!" —Joe |
