Sunday, July 6, 2003 at 4:33 PM Strange thing happened today I tried to get on Trigs FTP and my Norton Firewall popped up saying it blocked a Trojan Virus attempt. I am not sure but maybe someone can shed so light on this issue. Thanks a bunch —joemama |

Sunday, July 6, 2003 at 4:46 PM It's impossible to get a virus from an MP3 ;-) (Norton's infamous for it's excessive alerts) —Trig |

Sunday, July 6, 2003 at 5:08 PM That's me (the IP). My guess is that your browser tried to create a virtual connection on a random port (other than 21) and it choose a port that a trojan uses. —Trig |

Sunday, July 6, 2003 at 5:13 PM Hello again, thats weird I tried again and the same thing. The virus was named Sokets deTrois v1 Trojan. I have tried the last 2 weeks and no problems at all. Funny thing is that I would get the same type of virus attack warning in the past from using things like a auto updater like the one on Neverwinternights. Well I will try another time and again enjoy what your doing on the FTP. : ) —joemama |
