Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 10:55 PM I tried to call in for the first time last night, and was raped by a screener. My question was serious about some potentially dangerous ritalin. All she did was question my reason for asking and that I would probably die and then hung up. I understand that screeners are meant to filter out bad calls, but they didn't hafta be nazis about it. I've never called into the show, but it seems that Tara (sp- I really don't care enough) needs things constantly explained to her. Sure, she's probably younger and may not get some references, but c'mon -- I know what a speakeasy was, and I wasn't around during prohibition. I'd bet the only reason she's there is because she's halfway good looking. $6 an hour 'tards to answer the phones are pretty easy to come by. —Just a hunch |

When you said on the show, “It was the lady screener”, Drew responded, “No, it was actually a young male we have here observing this, Thomas is the one who figured it out”, and Adam went on th explain it to you further. Tell us why Drew and Adam would lie about that? While were on the subject of you not being able to get your "story" straight, why don’t you tell us how you really knew that people on suicide watch need to be observed when taking a shower. When Dr. asked you that, you gave 3 different answers in less than 30 seconds. First you said “I can imagine”. Then when Drew suspected that you knew because you had been in a psychiatric hospital, and you said, “No, but my friend was”. Then 2 seconds later your explanation changed to “My friend’s sister was suicidal”. Do you want to come clean or are you going to stick to one of those 3 stories?

Saturday, July 5, 2003 at 8:07 AM Well, I've seen tv, movies, etc. where they have a story line that involves a suicidal patient, and I recall them having to be observed at all times. The term "suicide watch" entails 24 hour monitoring, whether they're in the shower or sitting in a cell. So she *could* have got the information that way. Thomas figured it out without a complete confession here, just like Dr Drew and Adam said he did. Drew and Adam didn't lie when they said that Thomas was the one who busted you. Sorry to break it to you, but your desperate cries for attention here were enough for Thomas to figure it out. You are not as clever as you think you are. You made so many mistakes that Tara is far from the only one who could have busted you. Believe all you want that it was some little mistake that you made when talking to Tara, but that's not reality. If that was how you were busted, they would have told you that. Instead they corrected you when you said that you knew "it was the lady screener". I'm still waiting for you to explain why Dr Drew and Adam would lie and give the credit for busting you to Thomas if Tara really was the one who did it. You have to face reality Miriam. I know that you have really gotten into "the character who thinks that Tara busted her", but that character isn't real and doesn't exist in the bright daylight of reality.
