Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 10:32 AM Last night I was in studio when I heard Sophia come on. I immediately turned to Anderson and said "This call is bogus," and explained Sophia and Miriam. Although he thought maybe I was right, he said it was too serious to dismiss. I then went over to the internet and pulled up this board, only to find that Miriam had denied being Sophia, so I dismissed it. However, Phone screener Tara had already gone back to Miriam. She picked up the phone and said to "Sophia," "Miriam, you lied!" to which "Sophia" simply responded "why?" Tara put the phone down and asked us what she should do. We basically shrugged and told her to talk to her more. Miriam eventually broke, or switched back to Miriam, and confessed. Tara said she wouldnt tell, but everyone told Adam and Drew. Drew said "Well lets bust her!" And the rest is history. Also, Bogus Call Day was discovered by Drew, not Anderson as you guys thought. —Anonymous |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 11:18 AM Ah, I suppose you are the fabled Thomas. Well, we all thank you very much. It confirms our belief that somebody over there knows about this board. Thank you for setting this story straight. But one thing still bugs me; why did she call again the same night after being busted? And by the way, tell Anderson that we love his work. —Mike |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 11:24 AM OK, why bother with anonymous -- yes, I am Thomas. When you say "someone over there knows about this board", you assume that I belong over there. I've been there once. However, Anderson and Drew both know about this board. Oh, and she didn't call back after being busted -- she stayed on the line the whole time. —Thomas |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 11:26 AM What's really weird is that they didn't bust her on her Sophia call. MIRIAM called back as Ingres (her caller from the night before w/Trapt as guest). Why did Miriam call back as Ingres? She had called 1/2 hour earlier as Sophia. Wasn't that enough for her? Why call again? It's strange to call with 2 bogus calls in one night; almost like she wanted to get caught. —Latkes |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 11:28 AM Thomas, I read your post...so if she stayed on the line the whole time...then why did Adam, after th break, ask to speak to Ingres? —Latkes |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 11:34 AM I don't know why they chose ingres to call me by, I think they just picked up one of the names they had seen here. It was veryt strange, and upsetting because Tehra had been telling me she did it all on her own and wouldn't tell on me. —Miriam |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 11:35 AM Yea, but Miriam after Brian and Anderson and everyone sitting next to Tehra heard that it was bogus, there was no way they'd let it not be known :P Im listening right now. they decided to call her ingred to mess with her, and it worked. —Thomas |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 2:56 PM Loveline reaches so many people, I would not be surprised to find out that someone out there in radioland who REALLY DID have a molestation issue and REALLY WAS scared to call social services might have been helped by the saga of Sophia.

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 8:02 PM When you hear a voice of someone, you get a mental image of what they look like in your head, which isn't always how they actually look. That and people can look different from how they look in pictures. And nice work Thomas. It's about time someone busted her. —clodhopper |

Tuesday, June 17, 2003 at 9:13 PM I didnt get sucked onto this board, Thomas is my real name -- I go by another name on this board (I'm using Thomas for anonymity) -- I was visiting the studio -- long story -- and yes, I believe it is indeed "Tara" not "Tehra" -- "tehra" seems to be a way to spell it to make sure people don't pronounce it tar-uh :P —Thomas |
