your imagination rocks, i loved your calls.

in my opinion, you went too far with sophia. that was a call that adam and drew and dr. bruce spent a lot of time on. they (and we) genuinely cared about you and hoped for the best for you.

your explanation didn't really work. it just seems like you were bored and this game went on a little to long, and you became personally involved and called the phone # you were given.

they really HAD to try and help sophia. there was a possibility that she was real.

i think in this case, you overstepped what was right. but you live and learn.

as adam said, "See you in hell"

hey, good times.

You all think I'm insane, so I will reply to this with noesty, since it cannot get any worse. After I called as Sophia her image kept haunting me, I felt terrible for her, and she was part of me. I called the helpline, they connected me to the social worker and I just became. I don't think anyone will be able to understand it really.

A therapist would understand it fully.

Got one?

OR...

Someway, somehow... she actually WAS haunting you.... in that case, who ya gonna call?

i can take your word on this. you really got into the character. the strange thing is that you just kept going with it, and then you made a phone call to the helpline that was supposed to be for sophia, who had serious problems, not intended for miriam, who claims that she does not.

i can't try to really understand why you got so into it, but i take your word that sophie's image kept haunting you. i don't think you're insane. but i think there's something going on aside from you just being bored and wanting something to do late at night.

Miriam: I think you crossed the line with Sophia, but I also think that we aren't capable of telling such elaborate lies that aren't based on some sort of fact. You wouldn't have become so wrapped up in this if it wasn't helping you in some way. I think your people, especially Sophia, became real to you because they filled something that is missing in your life and allowed you an outlet that you don't have in reality. I really encourage you to find a healthier outlet for your talents, perhaps as an actress or writer. If you like the Internet attention, put up a website for your fiction (but please say it's fiction.) In a weird way I understand what you did, although I feel sad that Drew & Adam were hurt by it.

Yeah, what Joy said.

(Man, I bet Joy had the hot library-lady look going on!)

But Miriam is still a mental case, stop excusing her illness as some sort of abject talent.

Yeah to what Joy said #2

Especially the part:

"In a weird way I understand what you did, although I feel sad that Drew & Adam were hurt by it."

Drew is a good barometer for us all. If he says something is wrong, think about it. He is sensitive to people, and he makes a genuine effort to help. With the other calls, Miriam was inventive and far out there and over the top. With Sophia, A + D trusted her. There's something wrong with taking someone's trust and abusing it just to get what you want out of life, and I think that is what Miriam unintentionally did.
