Does anyone have any recommendations on how to help clear static on my FM reciever? It hasn't traditionally been a problem but in the past week I have noticed a very slight background static, and it is barely audible on my recordings; I can't get rid of it despite much manipulation and movement of the antenna... I figure that someone on here has to have a crazy solution ;)

I have the same thing, but there's nothing I can do. It's in the loveline stream to the station, cuz when it goes to commercial and stuff, the noise disappears. Sorry for being no help.

It's possible that it is the loveline stream... but I would imagine that they would make it as clear as possible. I am using a home stereo style FM/AM reciever from Pioneer with the stock FM antenna coming out the back, as I mentioned, I have maniuplated it as much as possible without fixing the problem. Basically I am wondering if anyone out there has a specific antenna or antenna boosting method that they use...
