Thursday, March 27, 2003 at 9:46 PM Does anyone have any recommendations on how to help clear static on my FM reciever? It hasn't traditionally been a problem but in the past week I have noticed a very slight background static, and it is barely audible on my recordings; I can't get rid of it despite much manipulation and movement of the antenna... I figure that someone on here has to have a crazy solution ;) —Kevin U. |

Friday, March 28, 2003 at 1:03 PM I have the same thing, but there's nothing I can do. It's in the loveline stream to the station, cuz when it goes to commercial and stuff, the noise disappears. Sorry for being no help. —Ken |

Friday, March 28, 2003 at 5:29 PM It's possible that it is the loveline stream... but I would imagine that they would make it as clear as possible. I am using a home stereo style FM/AM reciever from Pioneer with the stock FM antenna coming out the back, as I mentioned, I have maniuplated it as much as possible without fixing the problem. Basically I am wondering if anyone out there has a specific antenna or antenna boosting method that they use... —Kevin U. |
