Monday, March 17, 2003 at 1:07 PM Tyler, I like your site, but I have one question. Are these files mp3s or wavs? They have the wav extension, but according to my winamp, they are lame mp3s. Also, do you host this site yourself, or do you pay a different hosting site? Your space is fast and I am looking for web space, so if you use one of those hosting services, if you could hook me up with their site, I'd be very grateful. —Ken |

Monday, March 17, 2003 at 6:36 PM There are both .mp3 and .wav's up. the recent adds are .wav but i converted them weird. some of the older ones i did convert the .wav's to .mp3 using the LAME front-end. for the 'new' ones up, i just had the CD Wav output the files into mpeg compression layer 3 (.mp3) but i guess it really made them .wav's. they don't sound as good as the 'old' ones do. what type of transfer speeds are you getting? i'm curious, since i don't know how much bandwidth i use, or anything like that. I use www.onestop.net to register the domain and the hosting. it is $12/month to host, and i've bhad no problme.s it is good times. :) Ty —Tyler |
