Re: MTV SERIES "LOVELINE" COMES TO DVD

Family Guy has been on DVD for over a year now, just never in the states. I was going to buy the European version (I can watch PAL, i have a converter), but I heard about the American version, so held off.

Anyway, I do think this should happen.

Truthfully...

The TV version of Loveline was always a little wierd... it definately doesn't rival the radio show, and I really don't think I would buy it if it came out on dvd.

Re: Truthfully...

It was too MTV for me. I watched it sometimes, but I never got into it (although looking at Drew & Adam was a pleasure since they are both hot.)

I didn't like the weird people behind the curtain, and it seems like every time I watched it, they were talking about genital warts or pierced penises.

Too MTV is exactly right on target joy...

They tried too much crap to jazz it up when it's a really simple format. The worst was when they had Drew go into the audience and ask for their (nine times out of ten) stupid opinion. They'd listen to one or two idiots in the crowd until Adam would just get pissed and yell "Drew, will you get back up here and stop talking to those idiots?" And they kept switching female co-hosts (did the show really NEED another host?). The only ones I could stand of them were Laura Kightlinger(sp?) and Diane Farr. The behind the curtain thing was lame but I sort of understood it was to keep the person anonymous and make sure they didn't make something up just to get on TV, because you wouldn't see their face. I might by a DVD collection if it was cheap enough and like a best of kinda thing. The most insteresting part would be a behind the scene documentary thing having Adam explain alll the stupid things MTV made them do and did too them. Still... better than anything MTV has on NOW...

Maybe I'm a retard, but I couldn't find Loveline on that site. Were we supposed to register and do a write-in vote? :\ It's 4am, forgive my ditzoid quotient.
